Surprise proposal or know as well as secret proposal is one of the events that are very common in Santorini, Mykonos, Athens, Thessaloniki…well all over Greece nowadays!

Me, as a photographer, I am there to provide my expertise and photograph the moment of the big question!

Methods and techniques regarding a surprise proposal

Most people believe that the best method is to have a photographer capturing the moment as a paparazzi, hidden somewhere and using a telephoto lens.

Well, that is not the ideal way to photograph a surprise proposal! There are other ways to photograph (even to shoot video) a secret proposal and capture from a close distance authentic feelings, expressions….the moment! Without of course the other half getting suspicious!

Sometimes, unexpected issues arise on secret proposal! Extreme winds for example, especially at the Greek islands or time limitations in which the proposal has to be made during the hours of harsh light! Well, there are always ways to overcome issues like that with adjustments that has to be made!
