By now, I am sure you realised that Santorini is a “must” place for anniversaries, elopement, engagement, weddings….well tourism and events in general!
I guess it is better not to repeat that…and I will not…promise 🙂
What I have to tell you though is that Clement and Bonnie made two excellent choices in order to celebrate their anniversary!
Elopement to Santorini and also Athens!
Whatsmore…. they decided that it would be a brilliant idea to be photographed at the places they visit.

While searching for the appropriate photographer that would satisfy their aesthetics and style, they came upon my website www.happybridegroom.com
They both decided that this is what they wanted and there we were… at Santorini for a full day photo tour, visiting almost all spots and areas that worth visiting and being photographed at.

This is so called “photo tour” and we spent five hours travelling around the island and making all the necessary stops according to the plan we made.
I always make a plan before hand, after consulting the couples expectations, preferences and needs and a photo tour transportation is always provided. . Elopement photo tour photographer describes better my position at this occasion I guess.

After a few days we met again, at Athens city this time.
Totally different environment, different scenery, an urban feel. Therefore we treated this occasion in a different way photographically as well!
I describe this photographic projects as “walking photo tours” as it is much more convenient to walk at the city centre instead of driving (impossible 🙂
Photo tour, elopement photography, walking photo tour, wedding portraits, portraiture. The terminology differs but the main objective is always the same….. Good photography!
Coffee time
We finished our session after three hours. Three hours of walking, photographing and being photographed, under the sun and heat of almost 40 celsius!! Hard job!
The coffee place at buildings loft overlooking at Acropolis rock was rewarding. We needed some energy. Refreshing feeling and good opportunity to talk about other subjects apart from photography and our photo session.
After so many hours of being photographed and posing, Clement and Bonnie can now include at their resume some model experience!
